It has been announced that 1,146 residential villas for Emiratis will be part of the Yas Canal housing project in Abu Dhabi.

The Yas Canal residential project near Al Raha Beach was approved by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Centre for Projects and Infrastructure and the ICT Real Estate Development Company, is in charge of the Dh3.5 billion project. The latter quarter of 2027 is when completion is anticipated.

According to Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, the residential project is an expression of the leadership’s commitment to giving Emirati families in Abu Dhabi specialized, high-quality housing that meets their needs, guaranteeing their overall well-being and standard of living, and fostering social stability to support the emirate’s ongoing development.

The 1.8 square km Yas Canal residential complex has 10,000 square meters of businesses and amenities spread between three mosques, a school, a gym, and villas. On plots ranging from 600 to 780 square meters, the project provides three- to six-bedroom villas with sizes between 350 and 525 square meters.

Villas in the Yas Canal residential complex are available for purchase by UAE nationals who have been granted house loans by the Abu Dhabi House Authority. The project provides a wide variety of architectural styles.

Under the direction of the Abu Dhabi Centre for Projects and Infrastructure, ICT Real Estate Development Company is spearheading the design, building, and infrastructure of the Yas Canal residential project, which is a public-private partnership. The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority collaborates with us to oversee the sales of residential properties allotted to UAE citizens.
